I Appreciate Art: December 2010
http://wendart.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2010. Well for now I'm going to hold off on doing a painting a day. I have been commissioned to paint for two different people! Who knows how long they will take to complete, I imagine months, but meanwhile I'll be working on some smaller paintings partially for practice and partially to break up the monotony. Hope these still work. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Carol Marine's Painting a Day. VINCENT AND THE NIGHT -book is now OUT THERE!

I Appreciate Art: October 2009

Sunday, October 25, 2009. Chalk In the beginning. One year for Christmas my parents gave us chalk. Yep chalk and a chalk holder, they even threw in some colored chalk. Now I don't remember any of us having chalkboards and it wasn't sidewalk chalk so I thought to myself, "what am I going to do with this" and then I headed off to my room. While everyone else was taking their Christmas day nap I got to work. By the end of the day my room was a masterpiece and again my dad asked "Does it come off?

I Appreciate Art: November 2009
http://wendart.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 24, 2009. This painting was my first finished watercolor and at times I never thought it would end. I started a few others before this but I guess my attention span wasn't long enough to finish just one at a time. This painting has traveled many places and I hope it travels many more with me and maybe even future generations. Thank you grandma for inspiring it. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. The Sorensen's: February 2010

Monday, February 8, 2010. We were finger painting the other day and Aiden threw a huge fit because his hands were dirty. He has shown signs of not liking his hands dirty before, but this was a freak out. All I could do was laugh and get the camera. I hope he grows out of this. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Sorensen's: August 2010
http://trentandkimsorensen.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 10, 2010. It is amazing how quickly time passes when you don't want it to. When I did want time to go quickly, it dragged on and on. Now that I want it to slow down, it is rushing by. I can't believe my baby girl is 3 weeks old. I don't even know what I have done for the past 3 weeks, but I do know I have some pictures. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Sorensen's: A big gap!
http://trentandkimsorensen.blogspot.com/2012/04/big-gap.html
Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Since I'm trying to finally update this thing, I was looking through all my pictures and I literally had none on my camera from August to November. Thank goodness for iphones! These are a few of my favorites. I will give a quick rundown of what happened in each month. I think that's a nice wake up call to take more pictures! We had a blast hanging out with our friends Caitlin and Hugh before they moved to Utah. We miss them! I cannot believe it has been 5 years! I love my husband!

Trent's favorite meal is roast with mashed potatoes, carrots and homemade rolls. I have made this before, but haven't found any recipes that I absolutely love. If any of you have awesome recipes for any of these things please help me out with a recipe. Thanks! Hey, What Happened? I know it has been for.ev.er! Everyone hanging at Johnny's house.

The Sorensen's: March 2010
http://trentandkimsorensen.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 8, 2010. I just got back from the doctor for Aiden's 2 year checkup. Of course I wasn't surprised to find out that he is 37.5 inches tall and 31 lbs. That means he is 99% for height and 90% for weight. He is a big boy, is anyone really surprised? Here are more pictures of what he has been up to lately. Loving the Elmo blanket Grandma sent for his birthday. He loves playing in the clothes hamper with, of course, no clothes on. A great new spot just his size is the cupboard in our bathroom.
