Spring Break and a little Madness. It's been Spring Break this week although it really hasn't felt too different. I took off on Tuesday because Peyton had a doctor's appt in Dallas, but other than that it's been a normal week for us. The boys have really enjoyed spending time with David in the mornings and getting more time with Grammy in the afternoons. Who is playing in utero! The boys and I got up early that morning made him a homemade cake (another of his requests) and cleaned house. I'm learning that if I would just invite people over more often, our house would be cleaned more often! That night Judy, Norman, James, my mom and my dad came over. We ate till we were stuffed, watched David open gifts and of course, watched football on TV. The Horns were playing that night so there was lots of interest in the game. David, his boys and the cake. The birthday boy opening a present.

We've been in Northwest Arkansas since Wednesday. My dear cousin Amanda got married on Saturday so the whole Link crew decided to make a vacation out of it! My parents went down much earlier, but the Reeds, LeBlancs and Links headed up there mid-week. This season Peyton is a Wildcat in the Boys and Girls Club league. It's been a little bit of a struggle because his team is made up of the youngest group of kids in the league, but most games he and his teammates are out there playing their best. So go Wildcats! Saturday, February 13, 2010. We've Got a StoryTeller on our hands! As a first grader, Jackson is eligible to participate in PSIA at school, which is a private school UIL competition. He was eligible for Creative Writing and Storytelling. When these opportunities came up, I thought they were great opportunities to expand his academic mind. He agreed to go, and actually came home after the first practice saying that he enjoyed it. :). If this makes you uncomfortable, you DO NOT have to do this!
