Day 1686 – Grayson’s Journey. Dear Family and Friends. He was discharged at 2:00 PM this afternoon and, after a stop at the pharmacy for some antibiotics, we arrived home around 3:00. Most of our morning day was spent waiting to be discharged, then the last two hours were spent waiting for the antibiotic prescription we needed before we could leave. It is always frustrating to see how long the simplest of things seem to take in the medical world! The good news is that we made it home and all is well.

Day 1111 – Grayson’s Journey. Dear family and friends. I returned home from Seattle this evening. Regina and Grayson picked me up from the airport, then we picked Lauren up from work and all went out to dinner. What a fun family evening! Grayson was very bright eyed from the moment he woke up, according to Regina. He was very happy to see me and he hugged me almost too much! There really never is too much, is there! Day 1684 – Grayson’s Journey. Dear Family and Friends. The news from the hospital is GOOD! The procedure was successful. Both of the old leads were successfully removed with no damage, new leads were placed, and a new ICD was successfully implanted and tested. Grayson is young relative to the general population that receive ICDs. As a result of his youthful, tight skin (ah don't some of us wish! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brant's Blog: Day 1683 – Grayson’s Journey

http://reedhaus.blogspot.com/2014/06/day-1683-graysons-journey.html

Day 1683 – Grayson’s Journey. Today is Grayson's 29. It is incomprehensible that 29 years have passed since his birth. So many memories. So many gifts of love from Grayson and all of our children. It has been 7 months since I have last posted. I have put in a lot of Facebook chatter about our ski adventures, but the blog has gotten too much to maintain on a daily basis. Or weekly or monthly for that matter! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Grayson's Eagle Scout Portrait.

Day 958 – Grayson’s Journey. Dear family and friends,. Tonight Brant is at his 40. High school reunion. I celebrated the 40. Anniversary of my high school graduation three years ago and have recently renewed friendships from those days. Thinking about it tonight made me wonder if Grayson will or should attend his own 10. Reunion in two years. Certainly he will enjoy listening to friends talk and laugh and tell stories. Will he feel different? Will it be too noisy and over stimulating? Links to this post.

SERMONS & ART OF LAURA GENTRY: February 2010

http://pastorgentry.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

SERMONS and ART OF LAURA GENTRY. Preached at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lansing, Iowa. Sunday, February 28, 2010. GATHERED UNDER GOD'S WINGS. A Sermon for the Second Sunday in Lent. By Pastor Laura Gentry. In this morning’s gospel text, we have one of the strangest juxtapositions of animal imagery. That’s right: we have talk of a fox and a hen within two verses of one another. You remember the old children’s story of the crafty sly fox and the little red hen? What is he trying to teach us? What in t...
