Steven R Perryman CPA. Saturday, February 8, 2014. I don’t remember Steve Allen or Jack Parr when they hosted the Tonight Show. I thought Johnny Carson was great and still miss him. Why the winter's seem to be colder and the summers seem to be hotter? Why the concept of God has gotten so complicated? Why it is so unpopular to be a proponent of compromise instead of divisiveness? Why moderation is considered a bad thing? Why the US Tax Code is over 3000 pages long and so complicated?

Steven R Perryman CPA. Monday, February 16, 2015. Today is my 57th birthday. In honor of my birthday the federal government has declared it a national holiday and shut down all post offices, banks, etc. (Not really, its Presidents Day). We have the first significant snow since we moved into our new house in Rogerville. At about 7:15 out walked 3 of the community deer brood and for the first time, their boyfriend. He is a nice young 6 point. Pretty deer in the snow. I am blessed and God is good.

Steven R Perryman CPA. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Mom tells a great story about when dad proposed. Seems like they had been dating for a while. Dad had graduated from college and had bought the drug store in Calico Rock. He was 20 or 21. Mom had moved to Little Rock and was living with some college girlfriends and working. I have decided to try and write down, codify if you will, my definition of success. I want the definition to be broader than just success in business. I want my definition to be one of success as it applies to one’s life. I also just read a book. Set’s goals and establishes strategy to achieve those goals. If not, I at least know why).
