I grew up in South Dakota and Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota in l963 with a degree in Art Education and nearly completed a Master’s degree in botany. I came to Alaska in 1964 for summer work, met and married my husband Bill, and have lived just outside Denali National Park since. We have one married son. Over the past several years I have completed two large commissions. In November 2006 I completed a 4’ 6 x 10’ 8 four-panel wall quilt To Everything There is a Season.
