Why Wanting Success Isn’t Enough – ArtWithoutChains

Why Wanting Success Isn’t Enough. July 15, 2015. July 16, 2015. I was scrolling through the internet when I came across this photo. My initial thought was, My God, dancers have some nasty feet which was then furthered by comments about why I absolutely hate feet in their entirety. What I didn’t realize was the powerful symbolism within the confines of this picture. For me, this is an abstract map of what it takes to walk along the road to success. Dating Isn’t Complicated..We Are (Part 1) – ArtWithoutChains

Dating Isn’t Complicated. We Are (Part 1). July 16, 2015. July 21, 2015. Why does it seem like dating is so hard? We find somebody, they don’t turn out to be what we thought, and then we just repeat the cycle. We get on social media or go to other people and complain about why there are no good men/women out there. We have all the answers though. We can name everything wrong with our dating partners and why relationships can’t even remotely be successful because of them and only them. Liked by 1 person.

Running Our Own Race. August 16, 2015. It’s critical for us to take a step back and evaluate what drives us and why. Here’s what I’ve learned: If our ambitions are led by who we we’re going to help rather than how we can be elevated, we’ll have a meaningful set of objectives that we’re passionate about and we’ll understand the road we have to take accomplish them isn’t the same as someone else’s. What Happened to Our Fire? – ArtWithoutChains

What Happened to Our Fire? July 24, 2015. Remember how we used to dream as a child? What happened to our fire? THE MUDDINESS OF INSECURITIES:. As children, security was one of our finest assets. We had enough trust in ourselves to believe that what we envisioned for the future was possible. Our pursuit started immediately. We’d take our toys or grab some pens and markers and just create. We worked hard as if the things we berthed would make it out of the confines of the room we were in. Not a lot because...

Loving the Person in the Mirror. July 20, 2015. July 21, 2015. If you haven’t quite gotten there, it’s okay, but please take my advice and don’t wallow in it. Talk to someone. Don’t let a self-loathing or self-hating attitude take over and run rampantly in your life. It took me years to overcome something that was enforced in me early in my childhood. It’s even harder to shake when modern society pushes us to fall in line and model ourselves after others. The 3 Keys to Maintaining Healthy Bonds. July 21,...

What It Means to Be a Friend – ArtWithoutChains
https://artwithoutchains.wordpress.com/2015/07/15/what-it-means-to-be-a-friend
What It Means to Be a Friend. July 15, 2015. July 21, 2015. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. -John 15:13. As humans, our natural tendency is to immediately take things for face value and never care to look deeper. When seeing this verse from the bible, what is the one meaning that initially stands out from this? For me, I was always eager to speak up and say, its saying that the greatest love we can ever give is dying for someone. But is that all it means?
