And that it is never as joyful and sunny as it seems like it should be. In our minds, adoption should be happy. A child has been. It’s difficult to wrap our brains around the fact that. Is a terrible way to describe it. Yes, a child was without a forever home, and now s/he isn’t, and that’s so great, but they often don’t. What is supposed to be the solution.

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Dog Parks are Dangerous. Oh hey there blog. Long time no see. A lot's happened since the last time I posted here, but one thing completely took over my life for the past two months. I fractured my knee. Human knees aren't supposed to do this! Flash forward to an Urgent Care trip, an MRI, and an orthopedic exam, where I was given crutches, a knee brace, and instructions not to put weight on my fractured, right leg for 4 - 6 weeks.
