It's a Wonderful Life: pruning
http://stephanieswonderfullife.blogspot.com/2012/03/pruning.html
It's a Wonderful Life. Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives." Clarence It's A Wonderful Life. Tuesday, March 20, 2012. I got these from bushes around the house. I found that old pot at the thrift store. I am loving all the color changes outside but wonder what a freeze would do to all of the trees, flowers and bushes. It's the story of my life. I guess I should enjoy things in Gods time and not worry about the "what ifs.". I love yellow in the spring! March 22, 2012 at 10:06 PM.

It's a Wonderful Life. Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives." Clarence It's A Wonderful Life. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. We moved Annie back to Manhattan on Saturday. It's exciting to see her start her senior year! We seem to be in the swing of 6th grade. So much different than elementary school. I forget. And so it goes. Me with a middle schooler. Oh happy day! My Heart of Hope: March 2015
http://myheartofhope.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
My Heart of Hope. Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts. Romans 5:4. Friday, March 27, 2015. How to drive in Phoenix. When I lived in Johnson County, KS, EVERYONE bashed on Johnson Country drivers. What they didn't understand if they lived OUTSIDE of Johnson County was that we were trained to be defensive drivers, in order to stay alive in metro traffic. Forget the traffic rules you learned elsewhere. Phoenix has its own version of traffic rules. For exa...Road ...

My Heart of Hope: May 2014

My Heart of Hope. Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts. Romans 5:4. Saturday, May 24, 2014. It's a Stupid Saying. You know the one, "A sight for sore eyes." There's also "Do you have blinders on? He then showed him imaging he'd taken. His eye looked like this:. The yellow spots aren't supposed to be there. His first reaction was fear, of course. That he's going blind, that he won't see his children grow up, graduate, have children, etc. But we're going ...After...

It's a Wonderful Life: Listen

It's a Wonderful Life. Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives." Clarence It's A Wonderful Life. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. This is so awesome. Please take a moment to read:. A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that 1,100 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. In the 45 minu...

My Heart of Hope: We're a clan of crazy ones!
http://myheartofhope.blogspot.com/2014/12/were-clan-of-crazy-ones.html
My Heart of Hope. Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts. Romans 5:4. Friday, December 26, 2014. We're a clan of crazy ones! I laughed. We'd never even BEEN to Arizona. I started looking at homes on my phone in suburbs of Phoenix and felt a tingle in my spine. "I guess I'm not opposed to it," I replied. Only, I did. A great one. And it was a total God thing. You can read that story here. We're crazy like that. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Learning to follo...

My Heart of Hope: That's not the "flu."
http://myheartofhope.blogspot.com/2015/01/thats-not-flu.html
My Heart of Hope. Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts. Romans 5:4. Friday, January 16, 2015. That's not the "flu.". One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is when someone tells me that they've been sick with the flu. I always say "a stomach bug or influenza? They say "stomach flu" 99% of the time. That's not the FLU. Here's the thing. I'm UBER sensitive about the difference. Why? Influenza (flu), on the other hand, is a viral infection that mimics a cold, except that it...

My Heart of Hope: The best part of my day.
http://myheartofhope.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-best-part-of-my-day.html
My Heart of Hope. Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts. Romans 5:4. Tuesday, November 25, 2014. The best part of my day. I do "three good things" with my kids every night - which helps us to end the day on a positive note, with an attitude of gratitude for things that made our day great, even if it wasn't so great overall. The kids often "spin" this game and ask "What was the BEST part of your day? The open window as I woke up, streaming in fresh, desert air.

My Heart of Hope: April 2014

My Heart of Hope. Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts. Romans 5:4. Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Let them see you in me. She was so happy to see her baby girl all dressed up. The next day, she'd be gone. When my mother called to tell me, my first words were "I"m so glad K went to see her." I can't even write this without my eyes spilling over with tears, because the look of happiness on my grandmother's face just melts my heart. Links to this post. Learning to foll...
