Reflections: July 2015

Reflections is based on my personal devotional journals from a daily practice of reading through the Bible chapter by chapter. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Reflections on Jonah 4. Jonah was really upset and angry. So he prayed: Our LORD, I knew from the very beginning that you wouldn't destroy Nineveh. That's why I left my own country and headed for Spain. You are a kind and merciful God, and you are very patient. You always show love, and you don't like to punish anyone, not even foreigners. Now let me die!

Reflections is based on my personal devotional journals from a daily practice of reading through the Bible chapter by chapter. Thursday, May 28, 2015. Reflections on Ecclesiastes 8. Who is smart enough to explain everything? Wisdom makes you cheerful and gives you a smile. If you promised God that you would be loyal to the king, I advise you to keep that promise. Don't quickly oppose the king or argue when he has already made up his mind. Life is hard, but there is a time and a place for everything,.

Reflections: January 2015

Reflections is based on my personal devotional journals from a daily practice of reading through the Bible chapter by chapter. Thursday, January 29, 2015. Reflections on Job 25. Bildad from Shuah said:. God is the one to fear, because God is in control and rules the heavens. Who can count his army of stars? Isn't God the source of light? How can anyone be innocent in the sight of God? To him, not even the light of the moon and stars can ever be pure. So how can we humans, when we are merely worms? Sinner...

Reflections is based on my personal devotional journals from a daily practice of reading through the Bible chapter by chapter. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Reflections on Amos 1. I am Amos. And I raised sheep near the town of Tekoa when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam son of Jehoash was king of Israel. Two years before the earthquake, the LORD gave me several messages about Israel,. And I said: When the LORD roars from Jerusalem, pasturelands and Mount Carmel dry up and turn brown. The LORD said: I wil...

Reflections is based on my personal devotional journals from a daily practice of reading through the Bible chapter by chapter. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Reflections on Amos 5. Listen, nation of Israel, to my mournful message:. You, dearest Israel, have fallen, never to rise again- you lie deserted in your own land, with no one to help you up. The LORD God has warned, "From every ten soldiers only one will be left; from a thousand troops, only a hundred will survive.". You people are doomed! If you real...

Reflection on Lesson Plan #1

Thursday, February 5, 2009. Using the ASSURE Model to Incorporate Technology in the Character Education Classroom. Using the ASSURE Model to Incorporate Technology in the Character Education Classroom. By Agatha M. Cruz. Being that this is my first experience using the ASSURE Model lesson plan, I would have to say that it was extremely challenging. I am very unfamiliar with the ASSURE Model lesson plan; this lesson plan was the first ASSURE lesson plan that I have an opportunity creating. What I liked be...

death | ‘when the journey comes to an end’

8216;when the journey comes to an end’. Hen Almitra spoke, saying, “We would ask now of Death.” And he said:. You would know the secret of death. But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life? Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling? For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? And what is to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered? Click to print (Opens in new window).

My Utopia

Craft yer' jolly roger. Monday, July 26, 2010. The primary reason was supposed to be an ancient drainage system, capable of carrying a minute amount of water(in comparison) that proved hopelessly inadequate in the situation. Haphazard buildings and mangrove deforestation were said to be the other causes. The government promised to introduce transparency in the public works department. They planned to create a multi-crore project to clear the mithi river. I don't think so. Friday, July 2, 2010. Hmmm Its b...
