June 11, 2013. This year being a milestone birthday for Ben, we decided to challenge ourselves by hiking Yosemite's. A stunning series of trails that requires an early start, survival skills, and a whole lot of motivation! As prepared as we were, we were amazed at its intensity but 16 miles and 12 hours later, we felt a real sense of accomplishment! After camping two nights with Mellissa and Jeff in Yosemite Valley, we all spent a few days at a cabin nearby on Bass Lake. We put our feet up and enjoyed.

June 21, 2012. Sharing a birthday month means lots of celebration and this year has been no exception, it has been one of the most memorable years. We wanted to share our photos. With you even if we couldn't fly you all here in person. We thought of you and how much we would have loved to share it with you! To start it off, we celebrated Ben's birthday in Yosemite. July 4, 2011. Summer's off to a great start! It's been a fun month of June and turning the July corner, it doesn't look like it's going to slow down any. No one's complaining about warm weather in the city or unexpected days by the pool, a day at the beach both across the golden gate bridge at Stinson and just this weekend at Ocean Beach and Park Chalet just down the road from the Cliff House. Ben and I enjoyed a weekend in Yosemite. We're coming up on our first year anniversary, can you believe it?

April 20, 2014. We bought a house and are making it our own. After countless open houses and nearly a dozen offers, we found the right fit. March was a whirlwind, packing between trips to Bodega Bay and Tahoe, morning after a wedding in SF, we made the move to Oakland Hills. We decided to remodel right away and got to work tearing up mismatched floorboards. We were so lucky to have help! Dad put in a new mantel with TV installation, added recessed kitchen lights and dimmable touch lighting. I cant believ...

March 15, 2012. Ben and I chased the sunshine to Scottsdale, AZ for Spring Training. And some pre-season Giants games. The day game we enjoyed with a picnic on the lawn as we watched Tim Lincecum pitch, but it was hot enough to make the Lazy River at the hotel a must afterward! The night game was perfect and very memorable, some of the Hall of Fame players were there to sign autographs. One of our favorite details at the Kierland hotel where we stayed was the bagpiper. On the 18th green at twilight.

Friday, August 12, 2011. Hiking to Cecret Lake with 2 men, 5 women and 11 kids (14-month-Kayla to 13 -year-old Madi). I have NO idea how long it took but it was hilarious! Indy kept Bree laughing. Steph carried Kayla most the way (and sometimes Alec). Ash walked the trail holding hands with Uncles Ben and Jarem.
