Saturday, February 19, 2011. Things happen for a reason. The other morning started out as many of mine do, me in my typical surly mood and my children poking the bear. I have learned to TRY to overlook the drama that comes out of a certain little girl and boy in my house and am rounding the corner into not letting it screw up my entire morning (work in progress, work in progress). Shaking like a paint shaker at Home Depot is a shit way to start a morning but it just seems to be the way it will go for me.

It is gonna be THA BOMB. Its gonna be G R E A T! I’ll bake cookies. And volunteer in their class. Then a friend reminds me. Other kids are a pain in the ass. Quickly learning rest is for the wicked. And the righteous don’t need it. My yard needs work…. Maybe I will try to seed it? So I gave up my job. And fired my maid.

Sunday, December 26, 2010. Woe is my toe is that the cops? Twas the night before Christmas and in our humble abode. We were rushing to get into Santa mode. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care. Boxes were scattered every freakin where! Amazon, ebay, toys-r-us representing. Putting stuff together, the job of every adult consenting. The twins were asleep after a day of running wild. Oh the excitement of Christmas in the eyes of a child. Were stressed with the mess, yeah you know the scene.
