Reflection Through The Seasons

Thursday, January 10, 2013. A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR. Is my wish for you. I hope you all enjoyed the Peace and Joy of the Christmas Season and as we turn the pages of 2013 may your right hand always be stretched out in friendship and never in want. Before it gets too unseasonal for them, I'll share a few of my Christmas pictures. I made a selection of Christmas stocking. And some tree decorations, although folk were buying them to use as pin cushions too. What a change this morning though! OCTOBER WHILST PL...

Reflection Through The Seasons

http://reflectionthroughtheseasons.blogspot.com/2006/05/my-agapanthus-few-years-ago-i-planted.html

Wednesday, May 03, 2006. A few years ago, I planted up a blue Agapanthus in a pot. At first it appeared very happy there and produced many lovely blue flowers. However, the last couple of seasons, the number of flowers have diminished and last year it produced only one. Poor thing, it was almost starved to death, no wonder it was struggling to flower. We have since chopped the root ball into four parts so I’m hoping that I will have four prolific new plants now. Posted by Reflection Through The Seasons.

Monday, July 16, 2012. Which way shall we go. I'd like to take you on a walk we did a few weeks ago. We frequently visit here to keep an eye on the place, keep the garden in order, do general maintenance jobs and we often spend weekends away there too. enjoying the change of scenery of both coast and countryside. The food is good too. Many of the old signpos...

Story of a garden, a gardener and a way of life. Thursday, September 29, 2005. Have been cutting up the blouses bit by bit whenever I have a spare moment. July 23, 2014. My plan was to stay for six months. Until that moment, I had never before packed my life into two suitcases. What a chore it was to decide which of my possessions would be deemed worthy of viewing the sights of Cape Town. I remember laying out the candidates on the carpet of my bedroom floor, agonizing over which items would make the cut. Should I take that framed picture? What about that sweater? Will I want to read that book while I’m there? What about that necklace? But there were a few...

Monday, January 11, 2010. People who know me can vouch for the mood swings I have…I mean I can be excited doing one thing and in a fraction of second be dismal about the another…They would also know how there is an upbeat in my mood when I shop for even a pair of socks…This time it was the other way round and I had a horrible day at shopping on Saturday. This is not the only thing that led to my mood swing…continue to read more. I finally called it QUITS and returned with a sad mood, bad luck that day bu...

Reflection through interaction

Can personal objects reinforce young people's awareness about energy consumption and stimulate a change of their energy behaviour in everyday life? This master thesis in interaction design by Mattias Ludvigsson has been carried out within the framework of Interactive Institute's Static! The design project resulted in three themes of conceptual design proposals, represented by sketches and mock-ups without technical functionality, which all exemplifies how existing personal objects can be re-designed in o...

Reflection Today

Today's Reflection on Christianity, Church, Education, and Leadership. Monday, February 17, 2014. 7 Things that I learned during my 7 years of Pastoral Ministry. Just like ordinary people, pastors don’t want to hear the truth and what is true of themselves, of others, of their ministry, and of what God is really up to. Failure, just like success, can be very deceiving and debilitating, thus lead us to hold them as a norm so as to relax our guard to where God is leading us next. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
