Reflexology is an ancient form of Chinese massage, first developed in the form of 'Zone Therapy' in the early 1900's by Dr William Fitzgerald (American ENT Specialist). He described ten longitudinal zones of equal width throughout the body, with a flow of energy linking areas within each zone.
