ULTRA - Triathlon Mom: Buffalo Run 100 - Raced to my Potential
http://triathlon-mom.blogspot.com/2015/03/buffalo-run-100-raced-to-my-potential.html
ULTRA - Triathlon Mom. Monday, March 30, 2015. Buffalo Run 100 - Raced to my Potential. That is until I woke up the day before with a left foot that felt like it was bruised and didn't feel good to step on. Great. Then my 3 year didn't feel good night before the race, pretty much kicked me out of my own bed (because I'm a softy with her) and I woke up with a really sore neck. Were the parting words. Janice in the cute pink shorts next to me and Marlin to our right. Melissa behind him. A very old man hunc...

ULTRA - Triathlon Mom: Win a pair of Altra Impulse shoes
http://triathlon-mom.blogspot.com/2015/07/win-pair-of-altra-impulse-shoes.html
ULTRA - Triathlon Mom. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Win a pair of Altra Impulse shoes. Want a pair of these bad boys? Of course you do! Loved the @altrarunning Impulse at the Ogden Marathon I just blogged about. Light, firm, fast, and drain water really well! They kept me comfortable so I could push hard. Just like a fellow Altra athlete has been doing the last 47 days. And he'll be done with #50 on Saturday back home in Utah. Trying to sleep where ever he can. Well thanks for reading this far (or scrolling...

Seeking Ultra: Devil's Dome Loop epic - North Cascades, WA
http://seekingultra.blogspot.com/2013/06/devils-dome-loop-epic-north-cascades-wa.html
Sunday, June 30, 2013. Devil's Dome Loop epic - North Cascades, WA. Three weeks ago when I did Desolation Peak. I really wanted to do the Devil's Dome Loop. But was worried about the amount of snow and route finding that may be required (especially when alone). Dave. And I got in touch after I did Desolation (and he was running the Echo Valley 50m. And summarily put the loop on the calendar. Sweet. Richard. In a nutshell, the loop circumnavigates Jack Mountain. Devil's Park, heading up to Jackita Ridge.

Seeking Ultra: August 2015
http://seekingultra.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 17, 2015. Mt Daniel circumnavigation, Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Sir Hikes a Lot invited me on a long-form circumnavigation of Mt. Daniel in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. He chose a longer and possibly more-scenic route instead of the tight loop, and it's a tour of basically every alpine lake on the mountain proper. In summer, as opposed to a ski tour. The clockwise loop was approximately 26.5 miles with 9,100' of gain. Sir Hikes made a little video as well:. Rising traverse to the col. Looki...

Oh, The Aftermath...: Wasatch 100 2012
http://ohtheaftermath.blogspot.com/2012/09/wasatch-100-2012.html
Oh, The Aftermath. An account of running endeavors and the aftermath left in the wake. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Everything was a blur. One minute I’m sitting at work, plugging away on a project. The next minute I’m at my friend Matt’s house, laughing with friends and enjoying a nice BBQ on a beautiful summer evening. Aside from the pre-race meeting situated somewhere in there, it was a fairly typical weekend summer night for me. I had nothing to hold me back from working to achieve my goal. Before I ...

The Unlikely Adventures of Adventure Boy Man! Sunday, September 14, 2014. The Old Goat on the Wonderland Trail. The following is the account of Old Goat's (aka my Dad's) two day, solo circumnavigation of Mt. Rainier via the Wonderland Trail. I have yet to experience the fabled loop but, after hearing the tales and seeing the pictures, it is definitely on my bucket-list.- AdventureBoyMan. Map of the Wonderland Trail. Sunrise on the mountain. Looking south at Liberty Ridge (center). One of many falls.

ULTRA - Triathlon Mom: January 2015
http://triathlon-mom.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
ULTRA - Triathlon Mom. Thursday, January 22, 2015. I'm not really sure where to go from here. I have ideas, but not much direction. I'm not depressed about the race, but dissapointed yes. I'm handling it better than I thought, but I'm a little lost as to the future. Do I want to keep competing in national level, more competitve races and try to make a name for myself, or race whatever sounds fun? Great I had some really great long (25-31) mile runs. And I got a really long run in at Bandera ;) I won'...
