While I knew I was blogging for myself so I would be able to capture and remember this trip, I appreciated the following too. As JT kindly told me, when I am 80 years old and living in his basement, I will be able to read these memories and recreate the experience in my mind. He is probably right, although I would think he could add on an upstairs apartment for me.

If I stuck to business books it would have been good - but like most times, I also took advantage of the time for introspection or self analysis. If there was an audio book that could offer me one more data point on how to get life together, or one more perspective on why subconsciously sabotage myself or relationship, I was quick to buy it and then put it away for later. I have stopped at numerous gas stations on my trip to fill up on gas, use the restroom and leave a CD behind. Four Pathways to Success.

Thursday, May 13, 2010. It's Gonna Be a Good Life". On a scale of 1 to 10 the motel I stayed in last night was a 2.5. I thought I had called the Baymont Inn, which had the pool and spa and I asked when I called if it was open and she said yes.
