eucalyptus: August 2008
http://regnans.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 18 August 2008. The past is a different country. This picture was taken in the forests east of where I live in the early 1980s. I am the one on the right with a beanie and my hands in my pockets. The tree stump is the remains of E. regnans. Links to this post. I was on my way to the tram station when I saw these trees, and stopped to photograph them. Close up of the blossom. These flowers have quite as sweet scent. If you are asthmatic, don't stick your nose anywhere near this. And some people be...

Kiangardarup: Small Town Saints and Sinners
http://kiangardarup.blogspot.com/2008/05/small-town-saints-and-sinners.html
Kiangardarup may mean 'the place that has nothing' or it may mean'a poor man's place' or even 'pertaining to nothing'- it is the traditional name of the Elleker Lake system west of Albany .W.A. Wednesday, May 07, 2008. Small Town Saints and Sinners. In a small city, there is an edge between anonymity and identity where those who don’t fit in, live halfway between madness and normality. I know several quite ordinary saints who conduct miracles over the chook pen. Posted by Kyan gadac at 10:50 am. Thanks f...

Wednesday, February 23, 2005. It's a Matelock Moon and the Marri is flowering heavy. On the ground the bandicoots are getting thin while in the trees the possums are getting fat. I'm told that old timers reckon it means that we'll have a good winter. We shall see. Posted by Kyan gadac at 10:07 pm. Of course, the c...

trees, if you please: Sun and Shadows
http://treesifyouplease.blogspot.com/2010/01/sun-and-shadows.html
Wednesday, January 20, 2010. MLK day was beautiful! It was warm enough to flavor the air with a hint of "spring" and the ground was all squishy. I walked through muddy fields in the park. Inhaling the earthy breeze and stepping on shadows. The sun was working it's magic, painting stretchy dark extensions of the trees across the grass. I couldn't help but admire and photograph them, looking down at the trees, rather than up. Enjoy! January 21, 2010 at 11:35 AM. Excellent group of tree shadows. Love it!

A blog describing encounters with remarkable trees, the amazing relationships between trees and other living organisms and how we can better manage trees around us. Friday, April 6, 2012. Chinese New Year in Sydney - defiant urban trees. En dag i sänder
En dag i sänder. Dåtiden, nutiden o framtiden. Onsdag 23 april 2008.

Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Monday, April 2, 2007. Just call me cutting edge. Have just succeeded in uploading (or downloading . whatever) a photo onto Flickr. Am so impressed with my technological skills! Up until now I had only accessed my niece's photos of her baby daughter but now I've managed to put up a photo of our cats. Great excitement. (have just doublechecked to make sure that the photo is till there and hasn't suddenly disappeared into thin air). Thursday, March 29, 2007. I don't believe it!
