http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 15, 2012. I asked. She explained that the baby was too big for my body to miscarry by itself at this point- or that it might take a long time to do so. So I would have to be induced. Wednesday Night. I was supposed to call and see how busy the hospital was and get a time. Wednesday night. He was on his way home. "What is the matter? The actually labor was easy. I wish all labors were that easy. Under six hours and out he. So, this is our story. And how are we? We are doing well. Ou...

The McKellar Clan: July 2012
http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 7, 2012. Playing in St. George. Kiella is trying to climb up the wall like her Daddy. This was our way out of the Lava tubes. This was a hike through the hot desert and into these lava-carved caves. The boys positioned themselves up and passed the kids from person to person until they were out. Just after our Lava Tubes exploration. Matt said it was fun, he was glad we did something stupid (as in dangerous) that day. Ha ha. Nikell and her bestest cousin Jake. These two were inseparable.

The McKellar Clan: March 2014
http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 15, 2014. Thursday, March 13, 2014. Sure of the sweet spirit that whispered in my ear that day that there was a boy up " there. Play out in my head. There in heaven were two spirits and they were arguing. A girl said to a boy, "It's your turn to go. Go ahead." And then the boy replied back, "No, she knows I am here. If you don't go, you may not get to come to our family- but she knows I am here. Could I handle it? What if I got pregnant again and lost another one? Baby Boy McKellar, as st...

The McKellar Clan: May 2013
http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 9, 2013. I find myself thinking about this funny little kid a lot these days and figured I better write down a few things before they become lost forever. 1 She loves to laugh and she loves to laugh HARD. She's not a giggler or a chuckler or even a guffawer.she is a laugh until your belly hurts and you can't breath anymore girl. If something is funny she wants it to last as long as she possibly can. Watch it again, tell it again, do it again. Just keep that laughin' going. 7 She loves to si...

The McKellar Clan: A few miscillaneous pictures and Blessing Day!
http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2014/05/a-few-miscillaneous-pictures-and.html
Sunday, May 18, 2014. A few miscillaneous pictures and Blessing Day! I live for this face. I think I spend an hour or two each day evoking smiles and trying to coax giggles out of this little boy who has completely stolen my heart. I love him so much it hurts. Do you ever have those days where you look at your kids and your heart just melts because they are so beautiful and so amazing? This was one of those days. This kid just has a personality that people love and sometimes I cannot. I have those days t...

The McKellar Clan: October 2012
http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 28, 2012. The Friday before practice another family had a death and will now be gone for the funeral. 18 down to 16. No problem, no big deal, we can do this. Really we can. If I can remember to cue the kids when I am supposed to! At Friday's practice Nikell was quite ill (assumably gluten related). Saturday she did okay, but that night she was up a lot of the night crying and moaning. I was quite worried that she wouldn't make it on Sunday. So what does it all matter? Mikey Steele and Fam.

The McKellar Clan: Camping = Summer! (or at least it should)
http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2014/05/camping-summer-or-at-least-it-should.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Or at least it should). Our first camping trip of the season at "Camp Run-A-Muck." Also affectionately called "The Ranch". Norma and Thair own property by Ovid and graciously allow us to go camping! Thair built a small cabin and then brought in another and then a shed. There is no water, but there are beds and a roof over your head when it rains. He also has generators that you can plug in to the cabins for power! We love this spot! Violet is rolling dandelions. Jason was helping m...

The McKellar Clan: April 2014
http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2014. Gluten Free.now there's Three! We are up to three out of six kids that now eat gluten free. A fact which I am not happy about. A fact that has caused me many tears and a complete meltdown in the middle of a store. But I am once again adjusting. Now if I could move on to "accepting.". Related to Celiac. So instead of investing in a psychologist we decided to try the gluten-free route for a while. It's okay though if they are happier and healthier. All In a Hug. And so when I saw he...

The McKellar Clan: April 2013
http://lingeringqueen.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 12, 2013. Lessons learned from a whiner at the gym. Baffled me. Why would someone go seek out a personal trainer, ask that trainer for help, go to the trouble of setting up appointments and then show up for the appointments and pay the trainer for their time only to grumble and complain the whole time they are in the trainers stewardship. I often have to fight the urge to turn around and yell, " You wanted the help! You asked for it! You are paying for it! Now just do it and stop complaining.
