Tales of an Empty Nester. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. The Long, Long Move. It's been a rollercoaster summer. After a bumpy 1,600 mile cross-country ride (a faulty auto-trailer) we finally made it to the southwest. We found a nice rental (small! 1280 sf) and are still unpacking boxes. I have learned the hard way never to ask that question to somebody again when they tell me they are moving. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? I hope I am getting stronger. You've just entered the ramblings in my mind! Tuesday, May 21, 2013. What more can i say? Alienation and abandonment are common feelinga and situations i experience. Neither are easy to swollow,accept or get over. Rejection is a razors edge slucing me to the core. Everything eludes me.comfort,security,even love. We are meeting or talking or emailing with vendors daily and gathering the last of the needed items. My dining room looks like a warehouse! There has been little time for knitting.
