Howdy and welcome to our blog! Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." Romans 12:12. Sunday, December 23, 2012. Celebrating 6 years and 39 weeks! This past week Aaron and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary! I cannot believe we have been married for that long! I can still remember our 'courtship' like it was yesterday. A few years of dating led to a dream engagement night and then to a dream wedding on December 16, 2006. In the meantime, we are finishing up preparations!

Tonight my friend Megan and I took another paint class from Lydia DeRouen at the Real Art Gallery in DeRidder. I love these classes, they are so relaxing! Our subject was a Louisiana sunset on the Bayou. Earlier this week I was lucky enough to visit Bayou Teche in St. Martinville with Mrs. Kathi and Mrs. Melanie, it was so beautiful and peaceful. We began our New Years Eve with A&M's Bowl Game at Reliant Stadium, it was so strange watching an A&M game that was not being played at Kyle Field. We had a great time though and A&M won (first bowl game win in 10 years! Which made all of us happy, especially Aaron! He is always in the best mood after an A&M win! Set camera mode to manual.

Last week the staff of the clinic where Aaron works threw us an awesome baby shower! We had delicious food, an adorable cake, and lots of laughter! It was so much fun watching Aaron open all those pink presents! The generosity of his coworkers was so overwhelming! I love this owl, it has 10 developmental activities! I know Baby Isla will love it!
