Elegantly beautiful sewing and creating. July 31, 2016. Captain America Children`s Backpack. Just finished up a new bag for my son! The pattern I have used is Simplicity 8108, the licensed Avengers home sewing pattern. My son is a huge Avengers fan, and just needed the bag. A few things i would do differently next time would be to not sew the zipper teeth so close to the fabric, and to haul out my heavy duty machine (I was being a little lazy about pulling out different machines today). Here are my entries for month one. I completed (2) chemises for myself, one shirt for my son, a hoop farthengale, bum roll, a petticote, and a pair of bodies (super late 16 c.).
