I have recently begun blogging on a series of what i consider serious and important subjects, including world poverty, american politics and international development. It just kills me that someone could take advantage of these opportunities to have significant and relevant discussions to post links to commercial websites on blogs, under the guise of being someone genuinely interested in one's blog. Thank you for your time. Posted by Apuuli at 8:31 PM.

http://apu4prez.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
This is what I will call my personal manifesto. It is basically what I believe in, and what I would fight for if I were president - or any other elected office. Sunday, February 01, 2009. President Apuuli's Priorities have not changed (but one added). Here are my priorities, and how Obama is doing on them so far. 1 An end to pre-emptive or offensive military strikes, bring ALL troops on foreign soil home, not just those in Iraq. 2 Reduced, then eliminated, nuclear stockpile. 6 A living wage. 10 A foreign...

Gay Marriage should be legal. Religious or moral considerations have no place in this debate. And certainly, custom or tradition are not viable arguments, else we would still have slavery and women would not be allowed to vote or work. Posted by Apuuli @ 7:57 PM. Abortion should be legal, period. Posted by Apuuli @ 7:57 PM.

Apuuli's Rant: February 2005
http://apurant.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 22, 2005. Does abortion really fit in the liberal platform? My personal feeling about the death penalty is that it does not allow for an opportunity for redemption. For me it is not a cost issue, though that argument can certainly be made. Does that give one the right to take that life? Simply, I am. And NO, it ...
