Relaxed Hair Can...: my regimen

Moisturize and seal. Duh! Apply Jamaican black castor oil (JBCO), and lightly massage into scalp. Apply black tea rinse to my scalp and let sit for 20 mins (dont rinse out). Deep condition w/ heat for 1 hr. Let hair cool - 5mins and rinse. Protective or low manipulation style. I rock with the protective styles like 99% of the time. My style of choice are buns. Sometimes I will do a twist out or braid out when I feel like it. I rarely flat iron, so far Ive done it 3 times this year. Use a chelating shampoo.

Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Official Welcome and Aug 2010 Relaxer Update. Well I finally decided to make a blog. Im really excited about starting this new part of my journey. So here we go my 1st post! I rocked a braid out for about 2-3 days after. Was feeling to lazy to flat iron my hair. Plus Im in Long Hair Care Forum's 2010 Bootcamp. There are very strict rules for using heat and I already used my heat pass the week before. Oh yea I did a length check prob 2 days later and I FINALLY MADE BSB!
