She claims that while our kids are still living at home we hover and dote on them to the point of ridiculousness, but when they leave the nest, we cut off financial support, shut down their rooms, smile and wave ."see ya"! Tuesday, July 13, 2010. I ignored her and got in bed. Susan says to me " well you could lay on the floor for just a few minutes until she falls asleep". WHAT? I guess I have just not come far enough along in my spiritual journey to eat that slice of humble pie. I refused. Lily eventually calmed down, and now is sleeping happily through the night in our bed. Susan has transitioned her to napping in the crib, so hopefully she will be out of my room and sleeping solo very soon. And dying to self.

Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Caroline is 9 Months Today! Our sweet little Caroline is 9 months old today. Even though this is our second time around, I just can't believe how fast the time goes. Caroline is still a super great sleeper and so sweet. Over the past few days she has found her voice! I don't know if I am ready for that yet.haha! She had her 9 month check up this morning and is growing like a weed. Weight - 19 lbs 3 oz (50-75th percentile). Height - 27 1/2 inches (50th percentile).
