Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Reality means you live until you die,’ the agent says. ‘The real truth is nobody wants reality’". Exerpt from “Survivor” written by Chuck Palahniuk. These images were staged, a moment between others, a pause between the before and after of an event. Books are a place for us to escape within, and it is my thought, that photographs may serve the same purpose. As one views a photograph, I like to imagine that this moment as well is a conversation between artist and viewer.
