reluctantMANGO Knits: Knock, knock...

http://reluctantmango.blogspot.com/2009/02/knock-knock.html

Hooray for new sweaters! And I love the colors in your hat, yum :). Ah, so you have been secretly busy! I love the sweater - the vine design is just gorgeous. The color 'aint bad either! I always thought that halloween mask was totally creepy. You could totally scare the crap out of someone by sneaking up behind them in that thing! Your sweater looks great! Will you be wearing it for the Landenberg Sheep Shearing? I can't wait. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Scrap hat in Blue Sky Alpacas Organic Cotton. Ravelry link. Waffle pullover sweater in Colinette Jitterbug. Ravelry link. We do good work, don't you think? How did that happen? He's also positively darling. He is so adorable! Although I'm nervous at seeing how quick time goes! He's gotten so big! And he looks so much like you, especially in that top picture.) Great job with the knitting, I'm glad to see you're still in it. Look how big he got! Great sweater, too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

reluctantMANGO Knits: So long, so full

http://reluctantmango.blogspot.com/2008/06/so-long-so-full.html

So long, so full. Someone recently noted that it's been quite a while since I posted on my blog. This is true, but if you've been following for any amount of time, you'll know that my life is very full right now (in a good way). Something had to give, and this blog was the first casualty! Come and friend me! Seriously, it'll be good for all of us in the long run, myself included. The women I'll be working for seem genuine and honest and open, and they are willing to invest their time in me as I learn...

If I could read and knit at the same time, I could take over the world. Saturday, July 21, 2007. Please enjoy this slightly stiff photo of my foot inside what actually turned out to be a sock. Can we say, hellooo, awesome vertical stripes? Shocking, indeed. With a foot not in it it doesn't seem quite sock-shaped, but I'm sure a washing and a blocking will take care of that. I love my cheap ol' wire coat hanger sock blockers. Still to come: Argosy! Posted by V @ 9:10 PM. Links to this post. Which I have f...

The Smile Spot . . .: December 2010

http://smilecreationscrafts.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Tiny scarf for charity. My church has a giving tree - - you pick an ornament, purchase the gift written on the ornament, and return it to the church. The gift goes to one of the children of a needy family in the parish. The ornament I chose said a hat, scarf, and gloves set for a 4 year old boy. A nice simple scarf for a young boy in need. :). Or rather, fleece, lovely fleece! This was from just three sheep. There were at least 30 to be shorn! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). March 31 from 9-5. I Read; I Recommend. The Smile Spot . . .: Occupy what?

http://smilecreationscrafts.blogspot.com/2011/11/occupy-what.html

Wednesday, November 9, 2011. So I'll be honest. While I've seen some posts mentioning Occupy Wall Street, and I saw a crazy picture of tents on an Oakland freeway, I really don't know what exactly that means. However, a couple days ago, I came across the above image on Facebook . And I really like it. Even without understanding completely the Occupy Wall Street part, I support the sentiment. As I learn about cool hand craft gatherings, or stand-out Mom and Pop shops, I'll blog about them. I'm Patience, a...

http://bungaknitters.blogspot.com/2009/03/my-biggest-challenges-thus-far.html

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. My Biggest Challenges thus far. I finished the baby alpaca lace scarf I was working on over the holidays. It is supposed to be for my sister. She gave me one ball of this really soft lovely grey-brown yarn. Then she said "I want you to make me something with this- I couldn't resist it." Even though she does not knit and isn't even interested! This was a Knitty pattern, recommended by Dani from the Spring '05 issue http:/ www.blogger.com/Branching. April 1, 2009 at 9:48 AM. Yarn Harlot: The 2006 Knitting Olympics

http://yarnharlot.ca/blog/olympics2006.html

The 2006 Knitting Olympics. Any knitter who, embracing the "Citius, Alitius Fortius" ideal, would like to challenge themselves while embracing the Olympic spirit, and is just whacked enough to play along with me. You must cast on a project during the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics (Feb 10)- and finish before the Olympic flame goes out (Feb 26). That's 16 days. 1 The project must be a challenge for you to complete in 16 days. 4 No casting on before the flame is lit. If you're just crazy enough.

Its kind of how things fall apart or begin, with a plan, a whim, and then a thud. Sometimes we have to wait for good things to come by and sometimes we just have to wait. However, know that I didn't want to leave you with a blank box, that would be too rude. No, i'm leaving you with a semi-thought out delay, since I'm tired and putting everything together takes time.
