Sunday self-portraits: Totally tropical. These photos were not taken on my usual self-portrait day of a Sunday, but on a Monday holiday when I was at work, because I wanted to make use of this jungle mural made by some of the pupils! I've been wanting to take some self-portraits with a cool mural, and this was a very convenient one to use! I headed up there during my break with my tripod to take photos, and the only people I had to worry about in the building were some workmen along the other corridor.

Sunday self-portraits: Double exposures. I showed you some of my travel double exposures. Yesterday, and today it's the turn of self-portraits! I went through my self-portraits from the last year or so, and picked out some where I was against a light background. Then I had fun picking patterns to combine with them. Most of the patterns are either artworks I recently photographed at Hidden Door. I love how you can give a totally different look to a photo depending on what you choose to layer with it.

I'm loving peach and rose-gold this summer, so I made this bracelet in those colours. 1 Form a bead shape from peach polymer clay, and use a sharp knife to cut facets. 3 Cover part of each bead with masking tape and spray paint with gold paint. 4 Thread the beads on elastic, tying knots in between.
