Musings of a Medical Student: Spring Cleaning
http://medicmusings.blogspot.com/2008/04/spring-cleaning.html
Musings of a Medical Student. Chronicling the somewhat random thoughts of a medical student in his clinical placement. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Judging by my desk, I think it is safe to say that everything needs to be tidied up once in a while, if only to restore function. It was high time that this blog was sharpened up, and put into some semblence of focus. Whether or not this becomes a Dr Rant-esque. 22 April 2008 at 08:17. Then don’t forget to visit http:/ laserthermometerhq.com. It will include a st...

Musings of a Medical Student. Chronicling the somewhat random thoughts of a medical student in his clinical placement. Saturday, March 01, 2008. One of my friends is a Conservative. Gone are the days where one would commiserate the fact, and share a sad glance, preparing a political intervention in order to save them from a life of solitude and ridicule. Indeed no. The new computer system for clinicians should not be accessed by these people, so what will they administer? Or is it as I have seen on the w...

Musings of a Medical Student: February 2008

Musings of a Medical Student. Chronicling the somewhat random thoughts of a medical student in his clinical placement. Tuesday, February 05, 2008. The future of the Primary Care? Me to become a GP when I qualify, don't they? The Furore has long standing roots. The point is to allow follow up appointments when a patient can easily access the surgery, at a time that suits them. If we take hospital outpatients, we do not hear the clamour of "you get paid too much for too little! They see a more senior docto...

Musings of a Medical Student. Chronicling the somewhat random thoughts of a medical student in his clinical placement. Sunday, April 06, 2008. A weekend at work. Lets call the man Bob. Bob is 68 years old, and has been going to my church since before I moved to the area. I haven't really spent any time talking to him before today. Bob collapsed today in church, during the sermon. After we got him sorted out, he had a second funny turn, and from sitting and talking to me (Pulse 60, Cap refill. This Blog i...

Layla's space: February 2007
http://laylasramblings.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams it is still a beautiful world. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. I have just been shocked and appalled (and I thought I couldn't become any more so today) by something I saw on Dr Crippen's blog. So I thought my CV was good. But this guy's.bloody hell. I am speechless. What a stupid stupid country we live in. Posted by Layla @ 7:59 PM. Links to this post. I don't know who came up with this, but it is beautiful:. Choose sitting at that PC filling-in mind-numbing, ...

What's new pussycat?: Sponge
http://jadefox05.blogspot.com/2007/12/sponge.html
Monday, December 17, 2007. I am not saying I am trendy but I am a sponge. Every fashion ad campaign, new music, new haunts. I search and soak it all up. The music crisis has been alleviated after several days of negotiations. Cheese galore but I like it. Oak production is sick on. Also other host of producers including Polow. The Don and Neptunes. There was a late night tube journey involved where the ballads near the end helped get some shut eye but the fast and mid tempo tracks are good. Fashion and go...

What's new pussycat?: June 2007
http://jadefox05.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 29, 2007. BBE 10th anniversary set May 2007. Check out the new album, The Return of the Magnificent. Thursday, June 28, 2007. Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Roberto Cavalli new designer for H&M. Sunday, June 24, 2007. Oceans 13 is a slick picture with Al Pacino as an added bonus. It doesn't beat Oceans 11 because the format was relatively fresh but is the funniest of the three films. Could the studio not get Don Cheadle a proper voice coach for the 'cockney accent'? Dinner with friends. Tapas.
