Partisanship and special interests seem to have won out in the fight for supremacy, having beat out common sense and what would best serve the common good. But that’s a topic for another time. I can think of no more divisive issue in my lifetime that this one. It seems to pervade every political and religious conversation. The thing that strikes me about it is how angry some get when they find that others disagree with them. So someone disagrees with you – big deal. Who said we all have to agree?
