I was saddened to learn about your father's passing several months ago, but was glad to see the nice tribute to him that recently appeared in the AGU. I owe so much to your dad, because without his wisdom and foresight, my professional career as a meteorologist (and atmospheric chemist) would have never happened. That's how I'll remember your dad.
