Remembering Peter Simmons | 1954 – 2014
Father, son, husband, friend, drummer, runner, triathlete, one-of-a-kind. Peter Simmons, 59, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 4th, 2014, at his home as a result of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), a progression that lasted little more than a year. He was born to the late Leonard Roy Simmons and Joan Dorothy Simmons on April 5th, 1954, in Frindsbury, Kent, England. Peter married Deborah Lee in 1974 and they moved to the U.S with their young family in 1988. Donate to ALS TDI.
