Jayna: 100 Days
http://wildathearthomer.blogspot.com/2011/02/100-days.html
Sunday, February 6, 2011. We celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday! It's crazy to think it's already been that long, nerve-wrecking because the kids still have so much to learn, and exciting because it means there are only EIGHTY more day to go! We had a 100th day party and did lots of fun activities: Drew a picture of what we thought we would look like in 100 years, practiced skip-counting to 100, did 100-piece puzzles, colored 100 objects, wrote about what we would do if we had $100, etc.

Jayna: Tender Times
http://wildathearthomer.blogspot.com/2011/04/tender-times.html
Friday, April 29, 2011. It has been a roller-coaster of a week.glad it's the weekend! I interviewed for a teaching position at another elementary school (JR Smith) in Heber on Wednesday. I felt pretty good about the interview and was told I would hear back either way on Thursday. I get a phone call Thursday - but the principal tells me he needs one more day to make the final decision. Talk about torture! Someone shouted out "Ellie's crying." I looked over and gave her a concerned, but quizzical look&...

Jayna: April 2011
http://wildathearthomer.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 29, 2011. I finally graduated with a real degree. I am now a BYU Alumni. Weird. It still seems surreal. Or, more like an expensive piece of paper that still has to be mailed to me. It was a fun celebration time though. My family came into town for it, as well as Grandma Taggart. Dustin graduated in December, so it was really cool that he got to walk with me. My students got to be in on the celebration as well! It has been a roller-coaster of a week.glad it's the weekend! I interviewed for a...

Jayna: Breakable After All
http://wildathearthomer.blogspot.com/2011/03/breakable-after-all.html
Saturday, March 12, 2011. So, turns out I'm not invincibly made of steel like I kind of assumed.(just kidding). Brace yourself, it's a novel -. I went snowboarding for the first time. I've been wanting to try it for so long, so I was pretty excited. We went on President's Day. (Yes, it was a date. I went with Eric.). First run down the mountain. First time breaking a bone. But, I was still determined to make to the most of it, which meant boarding down the mountain. Eric came and rescued me a few times&#...

Jayna: Dishwasher Salmon
http://wildathearthomer.blogspot.com/2011/04/dishwasher-salmon.html
Sunday, April 17, 2011. Eric and I cooked some salmon in the DISHWASHER the other night. Literally. Sounds weird, I know. After seasoning it and wrapping it really well in aluminum foil, we put it through a soap-less cycle. One of my friends had made this for me a couple of years ago, and I was excited to try it on my own (although I was a little nervous how it would turn out). It was delicious though! And the easiest thing ever. =). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Http:/ remohj.blogspot.com/.

Jayna: August 2011
http://wildathearthomer.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 12, 2011. Oh, What Do You Do in the Summertime? Now that the summer is winding down and I'm getting ready to start school again, I've been thinking back on all that's happened this summer. It's always a blur, but I've enjoyed it so much! I've gotten time to relax, read, and play which is exactly what I wanted. :). Here's a bit of a recap on the highlights:. A week before school out I went on a short trip to California with some girlfriends - a perfect way to kick off summer! My little sis ...
