Removing The Stigma: October 2010

http://removingthestigma.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Life life is going. It's almost. almost back to normal. Well, as normal as my life gets. My work scheduale is now full, and I am just as disorganized as ever. I am working on my disorganization. Its a new goal of mine. So many goals. The same goals I made this time last year. EPIC FAIL! This year, will be different. At least, it better be. I can't have two epic fails in a row! How can I fail at something that matters to me so much? About myself, about others, about love, about l...

Removing The Stigma: Finding Peace.....

http://removingthestigma.blogspot.com/2011/10/finding-peace.html

Monday, October 31, 2011. Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.". I still think of Mom daily. Numerous times a day. I still start to call her. I still forget she is gone. I still remember every mean thing I’ve said to her, and I still remember the suffering. I am still angry, bitter and think cancer fucking sucks. I still ache for Mom and miss her dearly. A few weeks ago, I started wor...

Removing The Stigma: December 2009

http://removingthestigma.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 28, 2009. Yes, the forbidden topic. No one wants to talk about it. No one wants to admit that they get suicidal thoughts or secret plans of how they would go through with it. Yet, when people get brave enough to talk about it, they are usually ignored or dealt with in an inappropriate fashion that doesn’t seem to help. Most people who commit suicide, don’t want to die, they just want the hurt to go away. Common Warning Signs of suicide. Signs of depression or feelings of hopeless. Joking...

Removing The Stigma: July 2010

http://removingthestigma.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Saturday, July 31, 2010. Mom had been diagnosed shortly after Christmas with cancer. She received radiation, and then chemo. The first set of chemo knocked her off her feet, and she became to weak to undergo any more. Not that it would have helped. The tumors in her brain had taken over her body, rather then the breast cancer. I am incredibly pissed right now. Perhaps its part of the grieving process. The hardest part was mom loosing her speech. She had so much she wanted to say, and couldn't. I am still...

Removing the Veil: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6

Removing the Veil: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6. Thursday, May 28, 2009. Home: No place for Bible study. A San Diego pastor and his wife claim they were interrogated by a county official and warned they will face escalating fines if they continue to hold Bible studies in their home. Do you have a regular weekly meeting. Do you say 'amen'? The official reportedly asked. "Do you say, 'Praise the Lord'? The pastor's wife answered yes.
