Sunday, June 10, 2012. It has been way too long since my last post. Let me try to catch up. Photo Salon is a good start. We have had two excellent salons since last time. Two weeks ago we studied the use of diagonal lines in photographs. Our field trip was to the Great Wall of China. Beautiful scenery, rugged mountains, and—of course—the Great Wall. Thursday, December 26, 2013. Love Caledon in the winter! I think the snow makes everything look so pretty. There is ice skating and sleigh rides and snowball fights and warming up around a bonfire. Thursday, January 30, 2014. He new year is here and changes have already begun. One of the saddest is the closure of the Mont Saint Michel. Sim I first learned about it from our Photo Salon classes at Oxbridge. It is a wonderful recreation of the real-life monastery in Normandy. It will close at the end of January and it will be greatly missed. N a more positive note, I have been learning to fly in Second Life! And the Blake Sea. A not-quite successful landing at the Second Norway airport.
