Making a Home / Tea Coffee →. March 10, 2016. Hello, lovely people! It’s Friday here in Oz. After a week full of rain, it looks like the sun is coming out this morning. The flowers are extra green and colourful. I’m rethinking how much I appreciate the rain after such a long dry spell. What are you up to this weekend? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. April 14, 2016. What are you up to this Friday? We are going to the Cowboys game! They are playing my second favourite team, the Rabbitohs. The rain has stopped and the sun is out. Fingers crossed it will be a beautiful night for a football game! Friday night lights, baby! I’m teaching lots of Ancient Australian history today… Which is interesting… Considering I never learned about this in my education. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Celebrations / Our Wedding in QLD. Enjoy Your Weekend →. March 3, 2016. This week I felt a big shift at work. I’m settling in finally, after six weeks, finding routine and some organisation. Believe it or not, my desk is perfectly emasculate and they even think I’m OCD about my desk, files, markers, and pencils. Term 1 is almost at an end, which means students and teachers are feeling the pressure to make exam week successful. Notes on living in Australia / Seasons. Baby showers, here we come! You are co...

Celebrate // Birthday! | Hello, Queensland!

A Few Things →. February 8, 2016. Over the weekend, our family and a few friends with kiddos came over to wish Violet a very happy. 6th birthday! She tries to read them herself now! Only one child got hurt – when the piñata flew into her face. And only one child cried when she didn’t win the musical statues game. Other than that, the party went off without a hitch. Marty was the most fantastic host and even managed to cut through the completely frozen block of ice cream cake. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Kitchen Tea →. A Few of My Favorite Things. February 13, 2016. I’m getting used to Australian grocery stores. Although I haven’t mastered translating American names for cuts of meat or converting pounds to grams, I’m recognising brand names and what’s what on the shelves. Shopping used to take me forever! However, I’m finding new things to love. Here are a few new things I’ve found – some are Australian and some you can find just about anywhere! Toni and Guy Dry Shampoo Sky High Volume. Kitchen Tea →.

Making a Home // Tea + Coffee | Hello, Queensland!
https://burleighcourt.wordpress.com/2016/03/14/making-a-home-tea-coffee
Le Weekend →. Making a Home / Tea Coffee. March 14, 2016. Morning and afternoon tea are daily rituals in Australia. We even get a morning tea break at work and when we volunteer at the hospital. When you drive past a road crew, you can spot them pausing for a snack and their cuppa. Everyone needs a tea break here, Tim Tams or no Tim Tams. Speaking of, did anyone watch the last episodes of Downton Abbey? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). Le Weekend →. Enter y...
