Sunday, October 23, 2016. Missionaries come in all colors and sizes.so do their ties. These happen to be woven and sewed to the wearers specifications right here in Ghana. Zone Council meetings happen regularly but, Elder Halladay and I are usually doing the Banking on those days. This was an exception. So glad we got to attend! These missionaries are an inspiration. Elder Halladay sharing a bit of insight. All missionaries LOVE it when they get mail from home! LOVE Sisters Awittor and Athieno!

Halladays in Ghana : March 2016
http://halladaysghana.blogspot.com/2016_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 17, 2016. Funerals, Weddings and a baby naming ceremony. Funerals in Ghana are usually on the weekends, but the celebrating goes on for 4-5 days. They're marked by big red and black canopies like these. They will have speakers, professional mourners, much singing and food or alcohol is served. This is a cemetery. They can be found a long roadsides and are usually covered by thick foilage and trees. Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Our Missionary Sisters like their photo ops too! A favorite of mine.
