Biography: meticulous study of a great master. Born in Deventer, the Netherlands, in 1960, Erik Renssen is an independent Dutch artist. What started as a modest beginning in the field of oil painting has developed over the past three decades into a prolific international artistic career. He is now an established artist with a steadily growing group of admirers and collectors. Renssen expands his artistic scope through the collaborations he has embarked upon with passionate artisans like a frame maker.
