Saturday, February 21, 2015. 2014 Year in Review (Part 2). In mid June we loaded up the Vibe and started our sixth long road trip as a family of four. Yellowstone National Park was our destination, with a planned side trip to Fargo, North Dakota on the way home. The trip was scheduled to last seven days. Wednesday, February 01, 2012. We bought Cannon a loft bed from a local dealer today. It was a clearance sale and the bed was close enough to what we were looking for to work for us. It wasn't anything special, or so I thought. I wish I had taken a picture of how these pieces overlapped and fit inside each other. Monday, September 21, 2009. One Site To Rule Them All. I have been predicting the downfall of Google for a couple of years now. I thought at some point an independent auditor would prove that no one actually buys anything as a result of clicking on a Google Ad. Then the bubble would burst, investors would pull out. Tuesday, July 07, 2009. Over the last few months I've given in to Facebook. I can't really say that this is the reason I haven't blogged since December. I don't actually do a lot of writing or updating on Facebook. For me it is a mostly voyeuristic enterprise. I get to see what everyone else I've ever met is up to. Pretty soon I do not think we will have any more not-guilty verdicts because all the evidence a jury needs to see will be neatly tagged by "friends" of the defendant. Tuesday, July 07, 2009.

Leaving bad situations with big. 160; A golden parachute is not a good thing. 160;You will die if you jump out of an airplane with a parachute made of gold.  It is an ironic statement.  Unless these bosses are choking on their paychecks, the phrase is inappropriate. . Friday, July 08, 2011. Vacations - Part 2. We plan our vacations early, so in January we made reservations for a cabin outside of Omaha. Four nights and five days in a nice air conditioned cabin in a nice quiet campground along the river. You'll notice I did not say it was a nice river. This is because a month before we were to leave for vacation the river flooded the campground and our cabin, canceling our reservation.
