Come Fly With Me: October 2009
http://greenpilot.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Come Fly With Me. Mindless wanderings of an aspiring pilot. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Great Moments In Aviation. One of the greatest ironies currently starring in my life involves the coffee maker in the pilot's lounge. Now, I am not a coffee drinker and probably never will be. (I heard it stunts growth and I still harbor dreams of playing in the NBA) But the peculiarity of policy surrounding the making of coffee. Or maybe there is somehow lawsuit potential if a student scalds himself while making it?

Come Fly With Me: Turkey Day Thoughts
http://greenpilot.blogspot.com/2010/11/turkey-day-thoughts_24.html
Come Fly With Me. Mindless wanderings of an aspiring pilot. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Unless you are bitter, ungrateful, and hate the idea of cornucopias, Thanksgiving has to rank as the most enjoyable holiday currently on our calender. I say currently as it's important to leave space for potential future holidays, because you never know what might come up. For example, before Christ was born, there was no Christmas. See? November 25, 2010 at 6:48 AM. November 27, 2010 at 6:38 PM. Secondly, I was ext...

http://greenpilot.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Come Fly With Me. Mindless wanderings of an aspiring pilot. Sunday, February 28, 2010. I bought a new logbook today. It's large, shiny, and, similar to an imitation Italian sausage, came in a tightly wrapped plastic casing. If you're like me, spending money in any capacity is usually only because it's a special occasion, like birthdays or National Pancake Day. What kind of aircraft will I be flying? Where am I gonna go? Who's coming with me. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. I conduct most of my students' tr...

A Tenderfoot in Tombstone: January 2012
http://tenderfootintombstone.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
A Tenderfoot in Tombstone. The experiences of cops from here on the Gulf Coast of Texas. Sunday, January 29, 2012. A woman led officers on a chase across about 20 miles of freeway before fleeing into a neighborhood (probably her home) and finally stopping. A woman called to report her 21 year old son shot himself. No reason at this time. Saturday, January 28, 2012. Started the night with a man screaming for help call. Turns out he was stuck on his ladder. A man riding a bicycle got caught with marijuana.

101 Things the Fire Department wishes you knew. Wednesday, September 30. Social Media in EMS - A Tip of the Helmet. A Tip of the Helmet to online EMS educator Greg Friese. And his extensive research into how EMS agencies need to embrace social media before it gets past them and starts to cause problems. In his September 2009 article, he mentions our efforts here at HMHQ to use this media for positive change in our profession. Not sure what social networking can do for EMS? And at the EMS Expo.
