Monday, August 10, 2009. II District Convention 2009 - Luncheon. This year the Spastic Paralysis Luncheon honored. For her research in cancer chromosomes. Is also a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work. It was announced that because of the funds raised this year and pledged by the Spastic Paralysis. Research Foundation; Dr Rowley. Will be able to acquire some needed equipment without going through the government. Red tape that would add greatly to the time. Take to get the equipment.

Monday, August 10, 2009. On Friday 5 of us worked at the Pit Stop (previously the Craft Room) selling raffle tickets. The 5 were Joel Bloom, John Burke, Barbara Ryan, Folly Sorrenson. We were very successful in selling raffle tickets for some very nice prizes. All of the proceeds went to the Spastic Paralysis Research Foundation.
