Mont Saint Michel and Chartres, part 2 | researchinfrance

Observations and tips on doing historical research in France. Mont Saint Michel and Chartres, part 2. Asymp; 2 Comments. Observations and tips on doing historical research in France. Asymp; 3 Comments. Ok, this has nothing to do with research or the Middle Ages, but if you are interested in gardens or art or both, Giverny has to be on your must-see list. Sometimes the well-known places don’t live up to your expectations, especially when they are crowded with fellow tourists; that is not the case here. Giverny exceeded my expectations! The house was lovely too, not grand but comfortable, with a dining room painted buttercup...

Observations and tips on doing historical research in France. Roman sites in Provence. Asymp; Leave a comment. All sorts of Roman antiquities that have been dug up over the centuries, such as carved sarcophagi, amphorae, glass and pottery vessels, everyday objects like needles and game pieces, and complete tile floors, have been collected in the Musée Departemental d’Arles Antique, and there are models of what the city must have looked like in Roman times. researchinfrance | observations and tips on doing historical research in France

Observations and tips on doing historical research in France. Castles and an abbey. Asymp; Leave a comment. Although I returned home from France a couple of weeks ago, and have been busy organizing my photos and research notes, there are still some things I wanted to share with you all. One of the wonderful things about France is that there are medieval castles, in various stages of intactness or ruin, everywhere you go. Two of my favorites were the castles at Les Baux and Tarascon. Research Methodologies

Tuesday, March 29, 2005. A slight change in approach. I'm starting to think of methodologies that will work with my research on students and self-efficacy. I looked up several sources on self-efficacy since not much has been done on GSP by itself.
