Wednesday, February 15, 2006. Stuart: Live Brief: Getting it printed and handed in: (and discovering spray mount! Once all items were finished, with lots more Photoshop versus Illustrator matches along the way I had to get everything printed. As a brief conclusion to this project- it has been one of my favourites since I started uni- I loved the nature of it, especially the fact that it was a live brief: it felt as though there was a real point to it and I felt that I stretched all the creative parts of ...

Friday, March 17, 2006. Seeing as we had the strike for the original date of our presentations we were all free to hop off to the careers day (in the pouring rain I might add but hey ho! We went to a ‘talk’ later on in the afternoon, which wasn’t quite what we were expecting (We were expecting lots of new media stuff) but was interesting nonetheless regarding where people started out in their jobs and how they came to be where they are now so it wasn’t an hour wasted by any means! Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Stuart: Live Brief: Visiting the website. A small selection of clothes were available to order directly from the site but finding the item, picture and description was tricky in some cases or not possible at all. The only good part was the map which let the viewer navigate the nearest Ted Baker store or outlet anywhere in the world. Posted by alicks @ 6:36 AM. Stuart: Live Brief: The website. This brief required us to take a multimedia product that involves interaction between the user and the interface and analyse it using a set of criteria: I chose my Kodak digital camera as it could provide me with a high degree of interaction and usability due to the range of functions. Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Production Processes: Project Management; Website Analysis. As a mini assignment we were required to analyse local multimedia companies’ websites in preparation for arranging meetings to interview project managers on production processes within the multimedia company. I decided I would rather analyse one company in depth than two briefly and decided on 'Mosely Webb'. This is the link to the webpage for reference:. The ‘Strategies’ section features ‘changeover’ animations bet...

Tuesday, October 18, 2005. Assignment 6: Stuart Neil and Deborah Lamont : Assignment 4: HCI Report Critique (presentation): 18th October 2005. To accompany the written critique of the HCI report paper, we were also required to present our findings. Visually, I tried to make my presentation as engaging as possible, designing a recurring background design made up of the HCI logo and photographs from the conference faded into a watermark so as not to detract from the information.
