Tuesday, August 06, 2013. Vancouver 10k Sun Run. My sister-in-law leant me her jogging stroller, which is easier to maneuver in crowds. It was great! Both kids ended up sleeping through almost half the race again this year. Near the end of the race, Zeke was getting restless, so Lily reached forward and held his hand. It was bitter-sweet. I was relieved every time Scott called me to tell me how he was doing. He listened to audio books, which helped him stay attentive at the wheel. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. It’s a girl! Right before Scott left for Texas, we were able to go to the doctor for the ultrasound. The kids were excited to come. Zeke really wanted a baby named “Jake” and Lily wanted a little sister. Obviously, only one child would be happy.
