The R2-A4 Project: Back in Business: JEDI Control & Dome Work
http://r2a4.blogspot.com/2011/12/back-in-business-jedi-control-dome-work.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. Back in Business: JEDI Control and Dome Work. I received my complete JEDI Control kit back from Scott's repair work last week. I let him keep it for a few weeks to use as a template for other kits since I was down on building for a while anyway. So, I got it back last weekend, and this weekend I hooked it all back up: I am overjoyed to report that it works 100%! I have complete foot motor control, dome control, and sound control! The R2-A4 Project: Thanksgiving
http://r2a4.blogspot.com/2011/11/thanksgiving.html
Sunday, November 27, 2011. I think it's important at this time of year to take a moment to appreciate how lucky we all are that this is our hobby. We are truly fortunate people that we can spend thousands of dollars on what is, arguably, a toy. Anyway, I spent an hour or two this holiday weekend hiding from the relatives in my. Picking up a space heater today so I can function thru the winter. It gets damn cold out there by January. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dark Jedi Resin Bits. Dont tell Jind...

The R2-A4 Project: Winter 2012 Update: Dome Nearly Done
http://r2a4.blogspot.com/2012/02/winter-2012-update-dome-nearly-done.html
Friday, February 24, 2012. Winter 2012 Update: Dome Nearly Done. The mildest, driest winter in history continues, and so I have been able to actually paint in 70 degree weather. Fantastic! Of course, all our ski resorts are suffering, but I am loving it. I haven’t had to shovel any snow yet! I’ve gotten the dome finish to a level I am very happy with, and I’ve prepped and painted all the dome panels. The sonic blue pearl works great, and two coats of gloss clear finish it all off. The R2-A4 Project: August 2012
http://r2a4.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 28, 2012. I Can't Believe I Built That! I can't believe I've neglected posting to this blog for so long! Especially since my little R2 unit is dang near done. Unbelievable. So, I just got back from Celebration 6. I was a little bummed out earlier this year when it was announced it was back in Orlando. That meant my R2 couldn't make the trip (too far, too much $ $), and it also removed my urgency to finish him. I'd been looking for brass hose for months. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Reno, N...
