Res Ipsa Knit With Her

Wednesday, October 07, 2009. Who Ordered the Snow? This weekend I got a wonderful treat. I spent the weekend in Tahoe with eight ladies from my book club! Normally we meet one Sunday night per month and we switch off who hosts. Well this month the hostesses said, "let's all meet at my cabin in Tahoe! At first it wasn't clear that many folks would be able to make it but ultimately we had about half the group. It was such a wonderful weekend and great to have a bunch of Mom's around! Res Ipsa Knit With Her: Fair Isle Baby

http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2009/09/fair-isle-baby.html

Monday, September 28, 2009. I FINALLY found a hat pattern. Fair isle in that the colors change every other stitch when you are doing the pattern so therefore you don't have the long color runs that mess me up. I even learned to "pick" and "throw" having a different color in both hands. There are definitely more of these hats in my future! To see something much more impressive than another hat - go on over to Jen's blog. And see her beautiful Ulmus. Way to go Jennifer! I'm so impressed (and quite envious).

Sunday, August 19, 2007. Oh Baby, Baby. Baby's and knitting just seem to go together. There is nothing like a new baby on the way to inspire one to buy yarn and break out the needles (like we need any inspiration! I may just have to make a second one for myself. Now that worked out well.that's a beautiful color for a baby boy :) Very nice pattern.looks soft and good to cuddle with. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Res Ipsa Knit With Her. http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2007/11/fetch-me-some-yarn.html

Friday, November 23, 2007. Fetch Me Some Yarn. We're still in Oregon for Thanksgiving week and having a wonderful time. I decided Mom and I needed a project we could do together so, motivated by Janice's. No second mitt syndrome? Your fingerless mitts are beautiful! I finished a pair of these in August, but I never posted them because the'll be a Christmas gift.and I wasn't sure if the recipient might figure it out. Fetching is such a fun pattern. I love the two tone ones! It is a fun pattern, tho! I'm t...

Sunday, September 23, 2007. Sock it to Me. My work on the Boot Socks for Horsey Girl is ongoing. I have not worked on it non-stop but it still seems to be going very slowly and I still have another entire sock to knit! Also many thanks to Janice for teaching me how to post a button (it was a seriously remedial course that I needed! I have also just started a blog roll. I've only had time to add a few but am planning to add several more. I'm so excited to learn these new technological tricks. Three Panel ...

http://kishskorner.blogspot.com/2008/06/finally-something-finished.html

A quiet knitting retreat. Wednesday, June 04, 2008. Finally, Something Finished! Well I finally got something finished! I did the Summer Fun Tote pattern from the Creative Knitting magazine (May 2008). I love how it turned out. I also like the fact that I could use up stash yarn and pastic bags. I am now working on the larger size bag from the same pattern. Posted by Kish @ 8:28 PM. Wait, did you say/mean plastic bags? Did the pattern use plastic bags? And 2 sorry for the confusion/babbling.

A quiet knitting retreat. Sunday, May 28, 2006.
