Can God make a rock so big he can't lift it? We all do it. So maybe on this Monday we can start our week by resting in the fact that we are not God, but we accept his unmeasurable love and love Him and others in return. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Shine on it and it got that "possum caught in the headlights" look. When we are out of our comfort zone we get the same way. I'm a firm believer that Christianity in America is about comfort. Lord protect us, keep us safe, provide for us, heal us. Do you ever ask God to put you in a place where you will need Him more? Monday, April 27, 2009. Parade magazine's...

AO UNDONE: July 2009

Sunday, July 26, 2009. A Conversation of Meaning. This evening, I wandered outside to check on my tomatoes and get a breath of fresh air. The cool evening air gently laid lightly against my skin. The dark night brought the humble reminder that another day was not just passing but had indeed passed. Slowly, the dark shape of a tall, lanky man took form to reveal my white haired, cordial neighbor. I reached over the fence to shake his hand. He kindly asked, "How are you? Links to this post. Saturday, March 13, 2010. A Look into My Life (Social Media Style). As I have been reflecting on the recent birth of my daughter, I cannot get over how social media and modern technology allowed me the opportunity to share the life-changing event with my community. I got to enjoy the full experience of watching the miracle of life and yet got to keep family and friends in the loop as events occurred. Why do I find this happening interesting you ask? AO UNDONE: open thoughts
http://aoundone.blogspot.com/2010/02/open-thoughts.html
Monday, February 1, 2010. I am making the realization that there truly is a difference between life-change and transformation. I am ready to learn along the way. I am prepared for it not to come naturally and that I will have to work for it. I believe I will survive and be the better for it. I give thanks that fatherhood is not only life-changing but a transformational experience. One that I will cherish forever. Do you think there is a difference between life-change and transformation? I am a conversati...

AO UNDONE: Never Let Go
http://aoundone.blogspot.com/2010/05/never-let-go.html
Sunday, May 2, 2010. Occasionally, one will find themselves lost in a moment, caught up in something they never saw coming or even fully understood why or even what was happening. That moment happened to me this evening. Parenthood taught me more theology than most theologians will ever know. Thanks for posting this. I still pray for you and Sara daily. - JA. AO UNDONE: January 2010
http://aoundone.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 17, 2010. Sara and I decided tonight that the reason Ella has postponed her entrance to the world is due to a lack of play on our part. We did not come to this conclusion lightly. Allow me to explain. Links to this post. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Links to this post. Sunday, January 10, 2010. Two nights ago, we caught her in the act. While she pushed relentlessly against Sara's belly, we actually caught her foot (take my word for it, it was a foot). After Sara kindly pointed out w...I can...
