Meet Our Freedom Partners. Badala provides alternative employment opprotunities to women experiencing extreme poverty. Since launching in Kenya, Badala has since expanded their employment programs to women and artisans across East Africa, Central America, and to domestic sex trafficking survivors. Their strategy is two-fold. They work with women to help them start small business cooperatives, and they partner with and require manufacturers to also employ women with fair wages and fair hiring practices.
