The story is only Reticentric's first time writing D/C, and it is long, action-packed, full of emotion - and from an illustrator's pov, just chock-full of scenes I wanted to paint (though painting Cas in the iconic sad-clown face paint turned out to be a challenge! For their very helpful art beta and advice.
