Sunday, March 22, 2009. It has been kind of a busy week around here. We got estimates for a security system for the house and an awning for the deck. The refrigerator repair guy will be here tomorrow - thank heavens! Now we won't have to listen to the high pitched whine at all hours of the day and night. Thursday, January 29, 2009. I've always been a Steeler. Fan and even 36 years in Redskin country didn't sway me. We would often go to a sports bar to watch the Steeler. Game when it wasn't being broadcast in our area. I thought Redskin fans were obsessed but they don't even come close to the Steeler. Everywhere we go, there are banners and signs, people are wearing their Steeler. Gear, flags are flying on vehicles and buildings, store employees are decked out in black and gold.
