We used that original wood to match the replacement planks. Bill used a small plane to individually shape and custom fit each plank to fit the curve of the house. We've been looking at big wooden boats for the last year or so, mainly converted fishing trollers, trawlers and gillnetters in the 30ft to 40ft range.
