Role-playing games and general geekiness discussed herein. Monday, April 12, 2010. Back Behind the Screen. The title is inaccurate, considering i do all. Of my gaming from behind a computer screen these days (and therefore don't have any use of a GM screen), but after three weeks of once again running games of my own, i feel confident enough to announce that i'm filling the role of GM on Saturday nights. Game: hippie's Supernatural (play-by-chat). Place: OpenRPG (server announced weekly).

RPGamingGirl: Mass Combat
http://rpgaminggirl.blogspot.com/2011/11/mass-combat.html
Role-playing games and general geekiness discussed herein. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. I have a (not-so) secret (anymore) process for getting through an epic battle in a way that doesn't take weeks or months (or even hours), but allows for the player characters to determine the outcome completely. You may say. I do admit that it's fast and dirty, so not for everyone, but it's a fair way of handling it in a short amount of time. Behold:. 7 Repeat until one side surrenders, retreats, or is annihilated.

RPGamingGirl: December 2009
http://rpgaminggirl.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Role-playing games and general geekiness discussed herein. Monday, December 21, 2009. Yesterday, i learned to fully appreciate the effectiveness of shotguns against zombies! The first time he shot it. Want to be like the chick on youtube that must have broken her nose with the Desert Eagle, mmkay? I suggest usi...

Role-playing games and general geekiness discussed herein. Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Low-Powered" Doesn't Have to be Boring. Something to think about; this is a 50 point character i just made with Tri-Stat dX (which is a quick, easy, and free point-buy, variable dice system). Less Capable: Running Speed (-1). Armor: 3 (30 damage reduction). Plant Control: 5 (10 meters). Special Defense: Hunger (2). Special Movement (1): Plant Meld, trees only. Reincarnation 4 (easy to stop, takes 1 day).

Role-playing games and general geekiness discussed herein. Friday, September 10, 2010. I suppose there's a certain point, when you've been gaming or especially GMing for a very long time, that you might take it for granted that other players will have some basic common sense. So here's a little reminder for today:. If your GM is kind enough to post a detailed map of the game setting, you should probably look at it. Outside your front door. Posted by hippie mama. Role-playing games and general geekiness discussed herein. Saturday, September 26, 2009. But my biggest downfall seems to be how many different systems i'm playing in a given week- right now it's 6. And i am not keeping the combat formulas and whatnot straight. Argh! I find myself wondering if everyone has this problem, or just those of us that are math-challenged.or if the number of different games i play during a 7-day period is unusual. Posted by hippie mama.
